Ergotherapy

Run by Registered Osteopath and Ergonomist David Annett, specialising in DSE computer assessments and training.  Assessments are undertaken by experienced Osteopaths who use their clinical knowledge to highlight behaviours that could or have lead to injury.   On-site DSE Assessor training is also available including practical sessions with users.
Ergotherapy offers Manual Handling Assessments and Training.  With many years experience working for Royal Mail and Parcelforce including equipment evaluation and development, risk assessments and training course design.  Training is designed specifically for the tasks you do, not just generic ‘lifting a box off the floor’.
Ergotherapy has over 20 years experience working across many industries in both computer and non computer environments.   We are based in Yorkshire, covering Harrogate, Leeds, Bradford, York and Manchester.  We also have many clients in London and the South East and work nationally.

As a Yorkshire-based ergonomist who also works in London, I specialise in workstation assessments and product design. Product areas include telecoms, medical, consumer electronics, office furniture and postal, with several years' experience with a leading product development company. As a practising Registered Osteopath, I have a particular interest in the treatment and prevention of work-related injuries. This includes workstation assessments and training as well as manual handling assessments and training.
